Synopsis
Athletes and competitions aside, having a spectacular opening ceremony will set the mood for the Taipei Deaflympics. American-born Stan Lai, one of Asia's few theatre and film directors acknowledged worldwide, has been engaged to put on the show. But challenges abound. From limited funding to one of the worst typhoon in Taiwan’s history, how will Lai and his team overcome these obstacles and put on a grand opening ceremony for both the deaf and hearing audience?
